My son hit a letterbox the other day and pushed the left front quarter light out about 5 cms from the panel. All the main lights etc are OK and no broken plastic etc. Will this fail a WOF! It's an old Toyota Corolla. Ta.

Left front quarter light does not exist on a Toyota Corolla.
Can you post a picture of the damage!

A quarterlight is a window.

You sure the headlight hasn't snapped some mounts off!

But OP says all the lights are working.
You and I know a quarter light is a window, but it would appear OP calls park light a quarter light.

there can be no body work protrusions that could injure a pedestrian in the event of a collision

glynn-5cm sticking out istoo far.but the lens should just clip back in pretty much into place. But I would be worried that the left headlight has been pushed back so the headlight fails its WOF for being out of focus
-Theres this guy in a caryard out your way would probably be happy to have a look at it for you and tell you what if anything will be needed,
Can't tell you which place but its somewhere in henderson
