Was driving along and low beams stopped working the park lights would work and i could flash my high beams on but not leave them clicked on via switch to run all the way home. Switch and wiring loom melted together, wiring loom and switch where removed, new wiring loom and new switch (expensive). Checked all fuses they are fine, checked bulbs they are fine wiring has been checked everything seems to be in just the right place HOWEVER still not working. Could it be the relay! how do i test this!

headlight switch is really common to cause this fault
