LOL I resisted mentioning age ,mind you everyone I know feels pretty much the same way except for the dedicated F & H owners. So it's not just us older types.

Yes I used to think 60 was ancient until I hit the mid 50's, now it seems quite young and attainable.

alan1111, Oct 2, 5:21pm
what bunch of old cronies you guys are, best day of the year for me watching bathurst.

ryanm2, Oct 2, 5:23pm

Sheltered life.

purple666, Oct 2, 5:25pm
Enjoy it while it lasts, best days of my year are when I wake up with a hardon and a bird in my bed at the same time.

splinter67, Oct 2, 5:26pm

alan1111, Oct 2, 5:28pm

patiki1, Oct 2, 5:30pm

rob_man, Oct 2, 5:30pm
Jim Richards was a magician long before he got behind the wheel of Godzilla.

incar., Oct 2, 5:31pm
After being on the hill watching it tv doesn't do the justice

quickstitch, Oct 2, 5:34pm
yip, its an annual event at my place, as Monday is a compulsory holiday to recover.

1ollie, would you rather watch shopping baskets race than taxis. And drifting is pathetic, they aren't racing, its the equivalent of sycronised swimming, just an exhibition and has the same appeal to me. Each to their own but why do you insist on coming on every V8 or Supercar thread an giving you2 cents worth. We know you like blah japanese cars and hairdryers.Go watch they 24 hour Bathurst if that rocks your boat, but i don't think it gets TV coverage as no-one wants to see it.

splinter67, Oct 2, 5:36pm
Not listening to you. You just haven't got a big enough tv lol.Next year will be my boys first visit

richynuts, Oct 2, 6:12pm
You really should get out more often

stockyz, Oct 2, 6:15pm
do you mean this taxi driver! http://www.youtube.com/watch!v=bIScTqvsuF0

i havnt missed a bathurst since i was 10 and im 50 now this year is no exceptionbbq, beer a house full of mates its a great day

1ollie, Oct 2, 6:25pm
Don't quite get the shopping baskets part! is that related to when you go shopping and put your basket in the Falcodore taxi on the way home! Drifting may seem pathetic to you but that shows you are just an idiot with no real love for cars in my view. I insist on coming on such posts for the same others feel the need to put there 2 cents in on Jap/import/drift/rotary etc related posts and also for reactions such as yours lol. I do watch the 24hr when I can, and at least they are building there own fan base or following or what ever(grows each year) and not riding on the name and race from the past.
Let me guess you drive a Falcodore and have all the Jackets and get angry when drivers and teams jump camp! hahaha

incar., Oct 2, 6:33pm
lols he'll be stoked! the whole hill is a big party, not sure how close you can get to the cars now but gets the blood flowing

stockyz, Oct 2, 6:37pm
not bathurst, but people sometimes overlook LPhttp://www.youtube.com/watch!v=Nflj21etu5EI do miss Darrell Eastlake hahaha

1ollie, Oct 2, 6:40pm
Coming from someone who cant even string a sentence together or make any real sense! haha ok

rotormotor7, Oct 2, 7:00pm
I just liked the sheer variety years, haven't watched it since the year the loose plastic bags covered the radiators and cooked the engines, I think ford crapped out LARGE that year.

newtec1, Oct 2, 7:08pm
He was a magician around Puke when he used to challenge the big grunters in his Escort twin cam and hillman Imp.

quickstitch, Oct 2, 7:09pm
shopping basket ! all those tiny jap cars are good for, popping down to the shop and back.Every womans got one. yes i drive falcons, i own a FPV jacket. And i do have a passion for cars, did my trade workong on cars and have always had a toy or project on the go.And im an idiot for not liking drifting. But i bet you put those clowns that that pours deisel on the roads and go drifting in their pieces of shit on a pedistal. And the best car i have seen drifting was a green big block falcon at Hampton Downs. And as for getting angry when drivers jump camp, I'm still a Craig Lowdnes fan. Im not the idiot calling other peoples passions "boat anchor motors, taxis, Falcodores" . But i'm guessing you are getting a bit drunk and mouthy 'cos you are on your third vodka cruiser.

rob_man, Oct 2, 7:13pm
And Baypark in a dead stock MkIII Cortina one time contesting the GTX series. Even the Waikaraka Park saloon period was brilliant, Jim in a Mustang on the dirt and the likes of the McConnachie brothers and a few other notables. The golden years of tobacco sponsorship.

alan1111, Oct 2, 7:13pm
Craig Lowdnes is a living legend. He is right up there with Brock, Moffat etc.

1ollie, Oct 2, 7:26pm
Haha your like the full on classic Falcodore guy aren't you just haha.
Cool great to hear your view haha bit off the track but funny either way and I say what I say any time I am on here and no I haven't had a drink since Saturday night also I am more of a Heineken, Corona or Asahi type of guy.
It just has to be said sometimes to keep people on there toes as all I ever see on here is V8 meat heads with there big prehistoric engines compensating for a lack of something just writing the same old crap on every Jap import, Rotary or 4/6 cylinder post that gets put up even if its just someone trying to get some info about there car or help and plus it entertains me. I like all types of motorsports and cars but I do not favor V8s.

patiki1, Oct 2, 7:40pm
Dont lie,you drink Fluffy Ducks and own a gay turbo MR2 haha
