you cant pick 2 cars .

smac, Oct 4, 8:16am
Enduro is even more about the team than the driver (compared to sprints). Based on the driver pairing and pit stop performance, I'm gonna go with the Giz and Youlden #9.

However, Davison and McIntyre should be right there too, and I actually hope they can do it.

floscey, Oct 4, 8:24am
Lets hope Youlden can keep it out of the sand this year

3tomany, Oct 4, 8:26am

M3s were not competitive in OZ touring car racing even Peter Brock tried one and then went to a Sierra, BMW Koolaide much

splinter67, Oct 4, 8:42am
Thats not nice he dosent spend that much time in pit lane lol

3tomany, Oct 4, 8:50am
i say that because we went to a ride day with him a couple of years ago and after giving my son 4 laps in a supercar he was awesome, my son was being a pain in the ass following frosty like a shadow everytime he was out of the car but frosty was so good he just took the boy under his wing, nothing bothered him

doug207, Oct 4, 8:51am
I was always under the impression that they did very well in the Aussie touring cars!
Something to do with them winning the Australian touring car championship in '87!
Or the fact that they won every single touring car championship in the world in that era! World, European, Italian, British and German championships.

Not bad for a non-competitive car eh!

splinter67, Oct 4, 8:53am
Thats cool tell the truth who loved it more you or the boy! lol

3tomany, Oct 4, 9:00am
you got me there it was a great day, when i had my ride it was the last run on the tyre set so instead of pulling into the pits we went to the front strait at taupo and did a burnout it was so cool the whole car instantly filled with smoke, i couldnt see a thing, the car was still full of smoke when we got back to the pits the pit crew opened my door and let the smoke out along with me

splinter67, Oct 4, 9:18am
That must have been a rush

3tomany, Oct 4, 9:23am
oh yea

hi-ling, Oct 4, 11:25am
And the v8's are doing low 6's normally asperated, whats your point!, any motor can make big power with a huge wankercharger bolted on.
Come back and talk when you have 7-8000hp and run mid 3's

elect70, Oct 4, 12:00pm
Oh yeahremember whenthey introduced2 litre cars ,punters stayed away in their droves,so had tobring back the V8s toATTC. & drags- add couple turbos to anything & get quicker times thanV8,but guess what thepuntersgo to see at NHRA_ thumping greatnitro burning V8s

ct9a, Oct 4, 12:42pm
that was then this is the now,its the next generation thats up and coming.times are changing, the import scene is getting bigger and bigger more and more events etc. and yeah well hey thats yanks for ya

ct9a, Oct 4, 12:45pm
and whats your point!

the imports are still new and far from reaching there peaks the americans have been at it for decades , so in the short space of what 20years! the imports/euro's are showing the dinosaur praising community what technology is.

splinter67, Oct 4, 12:48pm
You need to read the title of this thread it says bathurstits racing this weekend nobody cares about imports at bathurst they care about aussie v8sso just go away and start your own thread about something that the imports are doing

I know what techology is, i just prefer not to use it. i like my car with a carb and a dizzy, i can problem solve if anything should go wrong, No spark or no fuel. easy to trace. and i like large rear wheel drive cars, and caling them 'taxis' isn't an insult. Taxi firms look for good value, reliable cars to make their business profitable. thats why 97% of Alert taxis fleet are falcons. And why aren't they using the big japanese/eurocars like the camry or maxima. they can't get 500,000 trouble free out of the motors.

untill next year
