Just for the same reason that nearly all of the threads related to Jap imports, Rotary's and turbo's all get dealt to! just some people who either can not appreciate what others are into or just can not keep there stupid mouths shut! so there for some people feel the need to do the same to there threads. you know just keeping it fair! viscous cycle really lol

Hay boy your the hater. If these engines are so great why arnt all car manufacturers using brap braps because they are useless. No hang on they are not quite useless they keep clowns that cant handle horsepower out of v8s. Oh and by the way ollie most manufacturesstill make v8s and will do into the future how many brap braps they going to make!
what a sad read, thank god the narrow minded older generation are dieing out that beleive v8 this v8 that heck its old and is a joke. Next year will open up the sport to the next generation of people who follow true performance cars. the jappas(rice) are taking over all the records set in the short space that has taken the older tech v8's decades to acheive ,heck even the imports are doing low 6's with built 2jz/rb26's.
A stock BA falcon GT-P is the same in terms of speed 1/4mile time as a stock dc2 typer R both low 14's .we wont mention corners
in terms of bathurst the aussie camp are really going to get the shake up the sport has needed after 1992
