I'd still rather watch the TV3 feed. As was said above, the aussie feed will have more ads, that's why we get the alternative commentary sometimes. When that happens, aussie are watching ads, we're watching racing. You'll also need a damn good connection to watch HD, or it will be low quality.

We can't use the youtube live feed anyway because tv3 have the rights so it will be blocked for NZ and Australia. I'll be watching the live feed on the V8Supercars site today for the shootout and then have to put up with tv3's rubbish tomorrow.

No but we DO miss something. It's live so everytime they have an ad break we miss the live action and it doesn't get repeated unless they have a replay. If the V8supercars aren't shown at all next year then this country is a disgrace.

The main part of starting V8 supercars cwas to get rid of Channel 7 in OZ they would show faggotball grandfinal not the Bathurst car race so the event was shifted to another date for channel 10 to broadcast because 7 owned the broadcast rights for the original date. This is why 7 showed 2litre cars at Bathurst that nobody watched, they owned the day. Worst thing Cochrane did was go back to 7.
