set myself up, chips, snacks, cold drinks etc etc now with bugger all to go the missus decides shes going to do some shit for work & sets up the laptop on the coffee table right beside me on the couch so I cant stretch out now & moving around like on a F'n trampoline, crunching on crackers, commenting every 2 seconds about work or some shit. FFS! Had a better time last year when I had to work & set the portable up on my workbench

Well-done TV3, your leadup coverage has been great this year .

serf407, Oct 7, 12:57pm
Kiwi co-drivers - are there Kiwi race drivers (watching their tvs in NZthis afternoon) who could be doing a better driving job than some driving at Bathurst this afternoon !

raymond00001, Oct 7, 1:37pm
Not enough ad breaks this year, either that or I need a bigger glass for my vodka LOL Be thankful people its not on pay per view sky etc.
I can't sit there and wath the whole thing non stop anymore anyway, been fir bushwalk and beachwalk and watching from lap 30 onwards intermittantly. That turn two crash was lucky one

socram, Oct 7, 2:05pm
Like who!

serf407, Oct 7, 2:53pm
Someone who is not going to do this
"McIntyre runs off the road at turn two and loses second position. It's all happening." Lap 55

Excuses for what!

Fantastic race, JW really is the guy for that situation.

One day you'll grow up and realise you can support something without have to piss on the opposition.

newtec1, Oct 7, 8:08pm
Yes i rememberthat.

stockyz, Oct 7, 9:30pm
+1as a ford fan I have to say jw is the man for the job, but to finish second by 300th of a second after 6 hrs is no mean feat either .it was a great job by 888 and fpr.A fantastic way to end the 50th great race, and next year starts a new era. May it go on for another 50yea

pnh4, Oct 7, 10:13pm
Good to see some of the neutral congrats' on here, makes for safe sound ending to a great day, once again Well done Holden & Ford.!

jkm, Oct 8, 5:03am
Great racing. Im a Holden fan but would have loved to see the Ford make the pass, it would have been all on then. The Bottleo Team have come a long way from being just one of the also rans. JW is certainly the freak as a driver and he wins whether he is driving a Holden or Ford. I thought Craig Loudes was hard done by as he had to que in the pits twice and lost several places, but he was the one with all the car speed and gaining at the end.

floscey, Oct 8, 6:09am
Congrats to 888 , speed to burn and stayed off the curbs . My pick 52D just about did it. so close but.

For not standing on the top step or are you a softy that just wants to compete and the winner dosent matter as long as you compete

smac, Oct 8, 7:00am
splinter you're just looking for a fight, just as you always do, where there isn't one to be had. Move on, get over it/yourself. I drive a Ford, and enjoy seeing them do well, but I'm far more interested in watching damn good day of racing than I am getting caught up in some weird and petty brand loyalty thing. Never really understood that. If you contributed to the win in some direct way, good for you, you can be proud.
