On most cars, you fill the transmission fluid through the dipstick tube.

ETA: Also, might pay to look at the owners manual on how to check the fluid level, but again, on most cars, engine running and in park or neutral, and make sure you are parked on level ground, not sloping.

I am not a Renault expert, but I would expect it to have the sealed AL4 transmission. That means there will likely be no dipstick.

You may have to have a google on it, I would expect it will likely have a breather that you can use as a filler or something like that.

HOWEVER. no point in filling it if you don't know how much you have lost, over filling it will likely cause damage as will running it without enough fluid.

So, not really a home job. Really your only option is to get it fixed so it stops leaking (I assume its leaking and that's why you are topping it up). Then have it filled correctly, this is likely best done by a Peugeot/Citroen/Renault specialist.

The only other option is sometimes with transmissions with no dipstick you can buy an "aftermarket" one that fits in the breather/filler tube. Mercedes are often like this. However I can't say I have seen one for an AL4.

Remember, I am not a Renault expert so take the above with a grain of salt, pretty sure I am right though.

No dipstick on them.
It has a filler plug on the front towards the bottom.

There is a fill procedure as long as your arm for those things.Take it to a GOOD transmission specialist. Is it a Singapore import by any chance!
