I've got the drivers door apart & the window being held up with bailing twine until I can find the bits I need to repair the arm/winder part.I think I might have taken the screws that were holding the central locking switch [has a short rod & elec cable to the main switchs in door] out! it had stopped working the week before the winder died, but I just can't seem to find where it goes
I have a book, but it seems to show everything but location isn't in electricial or body sections.

Does this help! http://i50.tinypic.com/dbthe.png (Sorry - picture isn't very clear) I have the Nissan Europe FSM, plus the manual the clip above is from (Haines!) which is a poor scan of the hard copy in PDF format. There are probably links to both at http://www.patrol4x4.com/forum/

I did find where it attached & that section was handy to read as it seems the switch is faulty. something else to fix.

for some reason my book for fixing the safari - doesn't have the central locking at all. not even in wiring diagrams!
