you could try on aircooled VW specific websites, such as NZ VW nuts. Or ring an aircooled VW parts supplier like The Metric Nut in Christchurch or The VW Shoppe in Hamilton. They both have stock of new and used parts.

Google Brit spares in Wellington . Chch. They're classic bike people but lots of old bikers were 6v.
