Hey just wondering, how hard is it to repair a kerbed machine polished lip rim! Is it something you could DIY or best left to professionals! Google shows results where people just sanded the kerbed areas but wouldnt that make the rim unbalanced! Thank you!

Can only the Polish do it!. Us kiwi's are known for efficient use of number 8 wire.

thers a few mag repairers in tauranga that will charge between 60-120 to get curb rash out of a wheel

This may well be true but getting that nice shiny polished look is the hard part if you bog the lip.It always just stays pinkblue or yellow no matter how hard ya polish it.
Take it to a pro I polish alloy for a living and you really don't want to try cleaning that up by hand
