I have a mazda bongo friendeethat is the pop top with sleeping up top.I also have a bed and cupboards etc in the back.How do I register for that use I cant understand the website. I thought it might be cheaper.At the moment its rego is for 8 seater passenger vehicle.Im confused .Im sure someoneknows. Thanks Karenthanks in advance

We have a hitop camper which is rego'd as a SPC (as above) and it's dearer than a car, not cheaper.

self propelled caravan is the one, desail hi roof van with std rego is about $650 a year . .as a self propelled caravan about $400 a year. To be a 8 seater, it has 8 sets of seat belts!.you might have to take them out, Our self propelled caravan seats 11 inc driver. but only has the factory 3 sets of belts in the front.
