My husbands car is sick.He went to go out yesterday and he started it up and it had no guts and the whole thing shook. Any ideas! It's a Subaru impreza (98), non turbo

Spark plugs, coil packs, eletrical of mechanical fault. Either of those

last subaru that played up was dirty intake and faulty sparkplug after. had noairflow meter on the one.

have you washed your car and engine and left it to sit! i was silly enough to do that, car ran like a sack and only on 3 cyl, 4th cyl was filled from plug to to of the lead, blew it our with air and it was good as new. shame on me lol
