I own a subaru impreza gf 1999 model. only has 65000 on the clock.
I was wondering what is the best fuel to run it on, at the moment im using, 91 octane. from bp/caltex. but wanna know your opinions and reasons.

95 minimum cause that is what the manual sez.98 legacy

I had a 97 went sweet as on 91 and was using bp had a bp fuel card using 95 I only gained an extra 10 to 15 ks per tank not worth the extra cost

Was that over serveral tanks, it does take a while for ecu to change the timing as required

yup over 2 months about 9 tanks

use higher octane for turbo obviously, otherwise 91's ok
