My car feels like its got backlash in the transmission, especially noticable at low urban speeds when you slow down for a corner or speed bump, when you put the power back on it feels like a delay before engaging with a jerk then its fine, can some diagnose this for me, is it something I should be concerned about.

Have you checked the fluid level! Would help if you stated what model car you have as well

2002 Audi Allroad tiptronic, the trans fluid level should be fine as it has just been serviced

who serviced it! i be getting it serviced by automatic trans rebuid place soonest with new filter and all places whom have the knowhow and tools to service it if its anything like the trans on vw and the chances are more then 90% that it is then you need special tools to fill and correct fluid level is mesured when the trans fluid is 30 degree celcius mesured with onboard diagnostic software.
