Just spotted a 70s Vauxhall Firenza drirving past on the M/way. Haven't seen one or heard one mentioned for a long time. Couldn't be that many left here in NZ.

My last car was a Borgward Goliath Kombi (only one left regd in NZ) & now the one off Telstar ute (although thats a modified) & the old EL 'coon looks nothing special but is a V8 Fairmont wagon, only 10 bought over here & supposedly 6 left on the road. I like stuff a bit different

That hardly surprises, there would have been very few Firenzas here even when the were new, GM didn't assemble them locally. That bodyshell was quite different to the stock 2 door HC Viva, had the Victor OHC motors and drivetrains too.

I saw a Firenza for sale in Gracious Motors over in the late '90s. Pretty quick cars back in the day with the Droop Snoop.

Yep fairly quick for their day. 125MPH and 0=60mph in 8secs,

It's actually really nice to see the cars of yesteryear getting around especially the rarer ones and they certainly stick out like a beacon amongst all the modern day clones.

Rare Car of the day (Saturday) just passed one in Pukekohe. 70s . Lancia Fulvia i.6 HF Coupe. Absolutely brilliant little car shame they were prone to rust.

Can you tell me how many Wolseley 6/99 there are left? I have a 1961 model. I understand there are only 35 left in England, so getting pretty rare.
