neighbor has a Jap Import Mazda Demio/2 .Has 2 keys 1 remote for central locking.Is it possible to buy/program another remote or best to just get a basic alarm fitted Thks

I have one which only had one remote. it is a 2003. I purchased another remote off here for $20 and just followed the online instructions of how to program it to the car. only took about 2 mins. I can find you the programming I used if you would like? a quick google search should find it though.

I purchased my spare off a guy who was wrecking a Mazda Demio here on Trademe. Key Fobs arent normally listed but if you ask most will set up an auction with a buy now. can range from $20 to $50

might have given you a bum steer/the car has 2 ignition keys and a 2 button lock/unlock remote .he may end up getting a basic alarm .thanks again.
