many brands out there i hav a toad in my clubsport recommend to me when insured got discount on alarm and install and on policy .ring ur insurance company they will have a recommended alarm or place

Just to drag up older thread I'm now in the same boat. Anyone have any positive feedback on dynatron or avs? I hear all sorts of stories about some alarms stopping working etc or becoming intermittent. Any other types that don't annoy the hell out of you?

I had an avs in my old evo, I owned it for about 6 years, no problems. I've had 2 x uniden as well in a couple of subies with no problems. I didn't do much research really I just put in what my insurance co said to.

I've had two unidens and found them annoying and unable to adapt to my needs. No personalosation of how long before self actuated, turn off beebs etc. next time I'll pay more for something with more user choices.
