Daihatsu Charade 2005,no adjustment on bulkhead,done at fork end,or pedal? TIA.

have a look where the cable goes onto the gearbox fork,usually a 6 mm nut and maybe a knurled knob

follow the cable up. Usually part way up theres an adjuster

It may have a circlip and a series of slots for the clip where the cable passes through the bulkhead. I can remember adjusting one like that many years ago but can not remember if it was a Diahatsu or a Daimler!

I know the pre- 2000 adjustment was the circlip on the cable at the firewall but not sure of post 2000. (12-15mm when you pull on the cable)

Looks like only adjustment is on fork.

Simply adjust with approx. 20mm freeboard, test with foot to ensure the clutch doesn't disengage too close to the floor.
