Wait til the govt introduces ruc's for electric cars. those with hybrids will get socked both ways, with fuel tax and ruc's.

reckon the logical thing would be RUC for everyone. Imagine petrol with no tax on it !

DEpends, I think that only plug in hybrids are classified as ev vehicle so mild hybrids should be okay. How they work out whether to charge plug in hybrids is yet to be seen. I’d assume they won’t get charged ruc which would make them very popular. Could make or break their popularity.

Late 2021 or beyond before EVs start paying RUCs but with running costs being so cheap for an EV a few cents per km is no big deal.
