My 10 year old son is car crazy. His favs are lambourgines, mclaren, bugatti etc. So the new cars rather than the classics, although doesn't mind them too. Does anyone know of any car shows coming up that I could take him too? Preferably lower North Island. I remember going to one years ago in wellington, and they had cars on nos, and all sorts of bright colourful cars with all the bells and whistles - I know he would love that kind of thing.

Some of the owners etc clubs use Manfield/ Chris Amon circuit from time to time. The tracks' website calendar for most nz circuits usually states ' private hire' if you are trying to figure who is using a circuit on a particular day. So you have to keep an eye on facebook profiles for when particular brands might be using a local circuit.
http://info.lexus.co.nz/performance-drive-day-register.html (lexus at Manfield) Mangatainoka Motors - Tui Brewery 30th September usually a few truck or car meetups at tui. Usually a few Brit and mg events in the wellington area thruout the year. British and European Car Day, Upper Hutt, 10th February 2019.
100% absolutely DO this it's not just old cars by a long shot. It's really a jaw dropper if you've never seen it before. Seriously!

And Rotorua Vintage Car Club branch's show at the lakefront Village Green in January! The date is to be confirmed, but probably Sunday 20th. Vintage, classic and rare moderns turn up from far afield. Any voluntary donations go to the St John Ambulance Association so a worthy cause.
