Looks to me they're getting the street name and location data from google maps because you can see those graphics pop in and out, but offset a bit from the actual street. I'm thinking the offset arises in editing, using a joystick to position the velocity graphic just below the white car, and using GPS from the helicopter to tie it together. At 4:20 you can see the car stop and then turn into a street and yet the velocity stays around 40mph
