I've had my falcon for 6 months (94 xg xr6 4.0) and the temp gauge has never reached the N in normal on the gauge, and is usually quite slow getting there. Today I happened to look down and the needle was right up on the L (about3/4). I took my foot off the throttle and it instantly dropped back down below the N. It did this once more before I got home. Ute is cooling down in the driveway then I will go have a look. Any common thing that could cause this!
