Fair enough, just if you had to sell it, that's all.

trade4us2, yes i could buy one but it would need to be a v8, have driven the 3.26 cyl and they are underpowdered, my present drive is a 5ltr calias

I've got a 3.2 V8. It's a bit unreliable so I have a Japanese car as well.

A 10 year old jag is hardly late model.

not really. SOME of the floorpan pressings were common to the mondeo, and some other bits, but saying the X Type is just a mondeo is far from the truth

Yeah if you're going to do it you may as well do it right.
I wouldn't touch an X or S

re X type, any car that has done one and a half times around the clock, I doubt whether it really is in 'immaculate condition' as stated.

'Clocks' have six digits now, its less that 1/6th of the way around
Seriously though that mileage is noting if the car has been well looked after

I have no wish to defraud IRD with questionable practices. There are smarter, legal ways to pay less tax.I got a good rating when I was audited as everything was transparent and it will stay that way.

Well I sold my 1965 S type for $4000 a couple of years back.

Nov 3, 4:42am
Is that a 2007 to 2011 Corolla! The Jag cost $200,000 new.

The other thing driving the price of old luxury cars, is, that a lot of the people who buy the new ones won't want to be seen in an old one, so in a few years' time they buy another new one.

when i was 18 i bought a 1992 bmw 750il
5 litre v12 250000kms still happy to reach the 265kph limiter with ease
cost me $2500 in the year i owned it i replaced one hose and a park light bulb sure not every little thing worked but i got 96% of the car for 1% of the price of new
interestingly enough it had lost on average around $1 per km it had driven so it costs more in depreciation than petrol

It's a 2009. I'm sure she won't mind, let's just do the swap.
