because I could.

mazzyz, Nov 20, 8:59am
Needed a larger sedan with character for family with 3 growing kids, preferably with 350 Chev and dual fuel. Nearly everyone over here owns a Holden or Ford and I didn't want to be a 'sheeple'. Very happy.

drog, Nov 20, 9:11am
Same, but '94.

a18a, Nov 20, 9:23am
it was cheap & i have lots of spare parts

moosie_21, Nov 20, 11:20am
Still have the trusty old '93 Celica. I always wanted a sports car, and our family had always bought Toyota's. Four years and 40,000km's later and she's still going great, no hassles whatsoever.

michael.benn, Nov 20, 2:27pm
Were you at the NZHondas meet the other night by any chance!

carmedic, Nov 20, 3:35pm
Was having a few drinks at work on Friday evening and one of the guys from the business next door said he was selling his car for $3000.
I currently don??

xs1100, Nov 20, 3:47pm

Versatility and reliability, I don't mind paying a bit more if I know the car is good. I am also in the habit of buying cars from people who can't afford to fix them, so I try and buy them at a good price. If I think I can't make a profit on a particular car, then I stay away. In the last 12 years, I've had 26 cars, I made money on some, cut even on others but lost money on just one, which happens to be the first and only Euro I ever had .

mugenb20b, Nov 20, 4:09pm
One of the nicest cars to drive I reckon. The only problem is, you'll get some funny looks if you have a male passenger with you.

carmedic, Nov 20, 4:22pm
I know they??

whqqsh, Nov 20, 4:25pm
AU coon, needed a big wagon rather than my VS ute due to ppl coming over for wedding & many trips to airport, home, venues, dinners, rellies etc etc (ute may have more room but dont think Aunty would be too impressed sitting in the back lol) at short notice it was cheaper than the Commodore alternatives & after 4 Holdens in a row the Ford option isnt too bad. I had promised myself a V8 by now but maybe next time & itll be a fair toss-up between the coon or hole-dunga

michael.benn, Nov 20, 4:27pm
How many kms has it done! If you ever get sick of it you've got a potential buyer right here. Been looking for a cheap MX5 for ages!

:)

electromic, Nov 20, 4:40pm
R32 Skyline, was the newest 6 cylinder rear drive on the lot with the lowest kms for the lowest price. That was in '98 and I still have the car today.

trogedon, Nov 20, 4:52pm
Car! Cars in my (ok, our) case - 9 of them.

scoobeey, Nov 20, 5:02pm
dx corolla .Been the most reliable car i have owned :))) and runs on just about zip diesel:)))

carmedic, Nov 20, 7:35pm
220,000KM quite tidy, drives very well, needs a passenger side mirror, almost four tyres and has a very small split in the plastic rear window (at the seam) otherwise the roof is good. As sad as it sounds, it would have to be a very good profit right now to sell it.

horsepower7, Nov 20, 7:40pm
now thats commitment! lol go the skylines! haha

michael.benn, Nov 20, 7:47pm
Nice !

Ah well ; you enjoy that little beast ! :)

pge, Nov 20, 7:57pm
I had to replace the 626 my daughter's b/f smashed for me, and a mate's father was selling his VN wagon for $1200.He had owned it for 17 years, second owner, 265,000Km, and babied like you wouldn't believe.

pollymay, Nov 20, 8:58pm
Needed a tow car, wanted to get rid of my turbo mr2. Guy said swap. I said sweet then, saves me messing around. Drove a VN SS in red home that week. As primo for towing as it is for wasting tyres and fuel.

Everytime I think of getting rid of it I look at the market and it's anywhere between 3k and 8k depending on apparently nothing but what the owners think then think back to dealing with morons when selling. The thought erases itself.

mingle417, Nov 24, 4:58pm
loved the look of Primeras, so now own a 92 P10 primera and a 2000 P11 primera
