hi there i have a 1996 toyota carib. i have just finished replacing tha engine and now my automatic transmission slips and car will hardly move at all. seems to like reverse more than going forward. trans has new transmission fuild and filter. was working fine before i changed my motor. any help would be much appreciated. cheers!

The fluid is at the correct level and the filter was installed correctly!

if trans torque converter came partally out when removing motor and converter wasnt refitted properly in to trans the pump will probably besmashed in trans, common to happen
