hi i have a ford auto. it has started to play up a week ago. when i put the foot down i seem to get a huge power lost especially up hills. once it pick up up after 3000rpm it will go fine. can anyone help me please or suggest what i can do.

Need more info! A "Ford auto" isn't much help! It could be a Ford Escort auto, or it could be a Ford Mustang auto. If its a Falcon and the auto is changing down a gear, the TPS might need to be adjusted back to 0.98v at idle.

your transmission is low on fluid and the pump will suck air especially when you go up a hill.the fluid will foam up. to check the transmission oil level the motor must be running, so do this and stick in about 2 litres of red oil and your away.
