Hi yeah just had this twit tx me today to buy our boat and wanted us to e-mail him back which we did thinking it was genuine, but got the same type of e-mail saying he was a marine engineer wanted to buy it for his uncle and didnt have internet banking and wanted us to set up a paypal account transfer the payment. We didn't have a buynow pricing tho.It seemed to good to be true and it was.Thankfully our son and his mates had read your comments and twigged to the scam. Does trademe know about this guy!

You do realise that the links in the emails don't actually go to Paypal, right! They go to a spoof site.

i got that txt, its a uk number, why you would reply to it is beyond me.
