What do they cost! Trying to price out to buy a GPS and can't find out information on Updates prices and what they cover, we are aware that Navman maps can be very pricey. But Tomtom packages!

i got a tomtom and a garmin . i would not bother with tomtom no more buy your self a garmin unit and sell or gift the tomtom to somone , you dont need map updates if a road dont exist you can usually guess your way round . And garmin have complete free maps made in nz updates are every 14 days and all you need is to download the file on to a storage card and thats it they got a donation page better to support local people.
Get a Garmin - then use the free open source maps (http://nzopengps.org/)

yes i agree get a Garmin:) either sell your tom tom of gift it likeintrade saidand you will be by far better off with Garmin you cant go wrong with them cheers and good luck :)
