Oh! that must be a misprint on the LTSA web page then, thats good then I can tell them next time it's cheaper and I am sure they will listen lol. It says motor cycles up to 60cc $403.00 per year, or am I looking at something different!

49cc, less than 2KW & designed for less than 50KMH means it can be Regestered & licensed as a Moped which is cheaper than motorcycle.

is the internet you surf always correct!do you have experience in relicencing a 49cc scooter(which 98% of the time is classed as a moped)does the ltsa site have a price for licencing a moped!no it does not

$173.80 Thats what it cost to licence our Keyway scooter late last year for 12 months Reg as a Moped.

It is $173 per year to Licence a moped. If you are registering it for the first time with new plates it is $214 including 12 months licence & then $173 each year for the licence label.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
