Have you tried another disc!Mate of mine has a BA and he had to have his unit replaced Just after he got it. And You can run your ipod or whatever via a wireless unit that plays it through your FM radio. I just done this yesterday and it works just fine.Bout $30 or so.

Is the CD a copied disc! Have you tried an original CD! Yes, an iPod connector can be wired into the loom on the passenger side footwell, then you hold the AM button for 3 secs to display AUX. Try google it for more info. Ford or a car stereo installation specialist should be able to supply you with an adapter lead. http://bourne.org.au/files/aux_audio.pdf

Think there is 2 types of MP3/Ipod connectors available Got one 4 years ago that is powered(2 connectors) and hooks up under the left side of the steering column
my ba has a 6 stacker that the dealer had to replace for me as it was faulty. plays burnt cds jus fine. you can get the ipod mp3 cords on here, they plug in at the rear of the fuse box

Dont waste money on that, the proper cable for a BA is around $30 also, and the sound quality is much better than most cheap transmitters.

yea buy the cord for the ipod, i got one from a guy on trademe ages ago. get the slightly dear ones that have a little amplifier box built in so the volume is better that the standard cord setup. they plug in easliy on the right hand side of steering column. easy to install yourself, they come with instructions etc. then when you cycle through the modes from the steering wheel you have an AUX option come up as well
