Does anyone have experiance in putting a diff from a falcon wagon/ute into a sedan. My xf sedan diff has blowen and i can get a wagon diff but dont know how difficult it will be to replace the internals.

Cobwebs in da spiders aye. Tip-loosen the crown wheel nuts on em BOTH before ya undo the caps and use your crown wheel and the *donor* diff centre with spider gears. just look closely at how your diff centre was shimmed and refit the same. Kapeesh!

in the past ive had to take the bearing of the pinion shaft and take out a spacer,then refit the bearing.

ok sweet. So can i just change the centres over. Havent had much to do with lsds. Do you have to change the pinions over or only if its a different ratio
