~ Ford Laser. to wreck, or not to wreck ~

dutchlass, Dec 18, 3:07pm
Ive got a 1990/91 Ford Laser that im not sure whether to sell it complete or strip it and sell off parts.
The rego's on hold. Motors good, needs new clutch, gear box good, body rough. Would need tyres for WOF.

Hubby and I spent over $800 doing the cambelt and waterpump. If I sold I know we wouldnt recoup that amount.

Can anyone guide me as to which way would be the best to go with it.
At the mo its just sitting on the lawn getting yuck.
Sons dogs pulled the front bumper off with its chain (still got the bumper tho), and the dog also put a dent in the roof when it jumped on it.

Any ideas whats best to do with it (the car. not the dog).

And no.im not trying to sell if through the MB.
If the advice leans more to advertising and selling it.then I would do so the proper way!

Hubby and I just want it gone. got too many broken cars as it is!

Thanks a.woodrow

Its a too good of a car to strip, but too rough to fix.
Would suit someone who wants to do one up or a paddock basher.

Just spoke to a mechanic about the gearbox.more than likely the gearbox is stuffed and not the clutch. Can get other gears except 1st.
