Does it have a distributor or is it electronic ignition!
If a distributor there's a small sender inside the body of the distributor that could be damaged. It usually won't fault until there's a bit of vibration.

Put your clutch in , change down to second gear as you slow, relase clutch and glide into your drive woman.
When you start the car, clutch IN place. the "stick" left and up. then slowly release your clutch as you exalarate. Simular on hill starts, just use your hand break and ease off once you feel the GO then realase the hand break ;) Going down hill.dont ride your cluctch, but you can if you want too ;)

Or has anyone checked the fuel fliter, sounds like if it is not the driver ;) . There could be "shite" in the lines making it hop about and starving the engine.
