does the 70 hr working week include non driving work! eg, i work 5 days a week (45 hrs) (non driving job) and have now been offered weekend work driving an 8 wheeler .do i still have to take 24hr break after 70 hours of continuous work! whether driving or not!

Yes and you have to fill out the log book for each of those days aswell.

ifyou are a trucky you should knowthis already. read the first page of the log book its all there in plainEnglish,no excuses here .muck it up get the book thrown at you . put everything downbetterto haveto much info thannot enough .

havnt been driving for 4 years, going to buy log book tomorrow so i can check it all out. as i don't want "the book" thrown my way! cheers for input .

Be aware that a lot of things have changed since you last drove. No more on duty or drive time now just work time. Also now allowed 13hours work time but must have 10 hours break.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
