Does anyone know where I can get some old tyres that have been cut in half to make some home made horse jumps! Or does anyone know how to cut tyres in half. In the South Auckland area :) Thanks

OK i am a women ( me and tools dont get on too well) Would need to be the standard car tyre as anything smaller would probrably be too flimsy if a horse knocked it. So prefeably on the look out for some pre cut tyres :)

Those knifes you used to see on t.v that could cut through frozen meat and tin cans.

Wouldnt it be better to dig a hole and bury them so there is just half sticking up! Or do you put them on the wood up higher!

or do a burnout until the tyres blow in the middle

You'd have to use a grinner with a cutting blade in it. Steel belt tires are not easy to cut. expect a lot of smoke.

Just buy some half worn tyres.

if you went to Drury Tires they'd probably give you some tyres for free since it costs them to dispose of them. find a bloke with an angle grinder & get them cut to suit.
