Honda Lagreat

You guys know much about these, Honda Lagreat. Looks like an American Odyssey. Big motor, 3.5 L and sliding rear doors. Inside looks good. 3 point seatbelts and captains seats in middle row. I am a little concerned about parts, resale and fuel consumption. Anyone able to help, with this! Ian.

Yep I knew they was a cousin of the Odyssey. One add' says they a bit bigger.I understand they was made in Canada and exported to American and they right had drives for the Japanese market. So the ones on here must have startedlife in Canada, went Japan and not over here. I'm interested in know what they are like, to own. Anyone!

I'd be wary of the auto box as both the four and five speeds have a poor reputation in the States. Not saying they're all bad but some years had pretty catastrophic issues

There is certainly a significant size difference there:

Bigger in every direction and a couple of hundred kgs heavier

Very good, thanks. Says fuel consumption pretty bad. 12.1 L/100Km, not good. Thats about 23 MPG

Par for the course for a big powerful 2 tonne van I think - something like an Elgrand or Granvia isn't going to be any better

Nah. Don't like any of those. They look like vans. At least the Odyssey looks attractive. Well I like ours, anyway.

They were for the Canadian market and while a great people moverthe transmissionsare weak and almost impossible to fix unless you are the Sultan of Brunei who has unlimited resources.,Ring any specialist transmission repairer.
