Cheap transportation from South Island to auckland

for a car with no gearbox so will need to be on a truck for transportation and is based in Timaru. Anyone know of any companys. The cheapest is $997 but not sure if thats cheap or not

under a grand is cheap considering the ferry is already a good 200$ already

try captain transporters, seem to be cheaper than jeffs and are quite good too!
