Just curious to see what people have to say about this, also might make a thread about whats the least reliable!
For me the most reliable cars have been my Nissans (primera and Sentra) followed closly by a Subaru WRX of all things!
Worst my BMW's lol!

Toyotas and Nissans, havent heard too many horror stories regarding these makes.
Some people rave about Hondas but most of the cars I see on the side of the road with the bonnet up have been Hondas lately!

VR SS Commodore. got a severe punishing & just kept on going. Got slammed into reverse probably 40 or 50 times doing high speed 360's & it just kept on going. Had the rear brakes on fire numerous times doing burnouts, been through a drain backwards (that one shortened up l/h side about 10mm) still kept on going. Been cooked in a burnout comp & used for the last 2yrs with a blown headgasket. & it STILL kept on going!
Reliable as.

guider1, Jun 6, 7:06am
Well, maybe not 50 times but it would've been at least 30-35. Did it 8 times in 1 night just to proove that the trans could handle it. lol.

91 Honda Accord Ex. 400k on the dial, looked like shit but still drove like new. Had the original factory clutch and taught four people how to drive manual. Also regularly towed a small boat from one end of the country to the other.

Only taken off the road becasue A pillar rust repairs were too much to justify on a driveway full of cars.

Ive had 3 bmws over the last 7 years. I drive 40,000 kms a year and thus far I've had trouble free motoring bar tyres and servicing every 10,000 km

My current is a 330 M/sport and I do drive em fairly hard

I'd happily get another

gammelvind, Jun 6, 8:53am
Toyota corrolla G touring 91, showed 230,000 on clock when I sold it. Im sure it was much more. Just rear shocks and brake hoses, plus a new rubber band at 100 and 200,000. Still going.
