Mobility scooter batteries can they fix or wrecked

Its spent a few years sitting with the occasional run and now only gets about 4km before the twin batteries are flat. Its ment to get about 30km. Can i get more charge in them or do they need replacing.

I'd say give them the big heave ho.There's no way to recondition batteries. Just get new ones.

also shop around for the price as they can vary greatly, last year i had to replace the batteries on nanas scooter. mobility scooter place were happy to charge $600 each while the battery dealer (trade account mind you) charged $145 each.

Shop around, just make sure you get "deep cycle" batteries.Super Cheap and Repco stock them too. $600 each as robell mentioned is way too dear.
