A bit like an XY falcon but it's not. Racking my brains here, maybe a USA Ford.

Nailed in 30 minutes. We never fail.

steve312, Jun 2, 4:47am
Definitely Falcon, not Holden.

My first thought was 70 ish fairlane, the one with the 4 headlamps, 2 up 2 down.
ZD! are they marked ford!

rob_man, Jun 2, 4:58am
Just shuddup alright. *hangs head.

lookoutas, Jun 2, 5:28am
My exact first thoughts too.

And it looks right after the petes Google.

cool, thanks everyone . was thinking valiant myself as the housing is angled where as the falcon isnt. guess that makes sense since he had a chrysler mudflap as well but i left that behind for now.

give me a min and i'll link another , i know its ford as it has fomoco stamp just cant nail down exact model yet.

fordguy17, Jun 2, 5:57am
Looks like an XW station wagon to me.

rob_man, Jun 2, 6:05am
I'm not saying anything this time.

lookoutas, Jun 2, 6:14am
That second one definitely don't look like an XW wagon to me:)

luxy, Jun 2, 7:21am
it is a VG valiant

cocabowla, Jun 2, 7:51am
yes similar but the one in my pic only has 2 screw holes where the capri shown has 4. hmmmm, ah well will just list as european ford .

I'm too mortified to speak. I made a mistake. It begins, the relentless descent into dotage.

cocabowla, Jun 2, 10:37am
i should know them all since my late step father had halves in a wreckers yard, from 78 to 89 i spent way to much time there (well not so much from 85 on when i left home) but there will always be something to stump us .
take an asprin rob_man and you'll be right by morning. lol

Yep, you can tell by the part numbers too. Normal Mopar part number with 'A' in front to denote Aussie market. SAE 70 etc is the USA standard, all USA replacement lenses seem to have it on, great for knowing what year car they fit.

cocabowla, Jun 3, 4:18am
OK. we have the valiant one sorted !

its the ford one thats creating head scratching

cocabowla, Jun 3, 6:00am
