A mates yard was broken into in Creek St , Drury, some time last night or early this morning & they loaded their tipper with scrap steel & drove it away. Truck is an early/mid '90's Mazda Titan tipper (light truck), white cab, blue grille, black rims, sky blue tipper deck with high steel headboard, sides & tailgate. Deck has chains hanging off the back. It has a distinctive towbar as it sticks out from the truck quite a bit. May still have Skilton Truckparts in small black lettering on the bottom of the doors. If spotted please phone the Police or Paul/Tyron at Skilton Truckparts (09-294-8900) We have contacted the NZ Scrap Metal Recyclers Association & they have sent out an email to all associated recyclers.

The scrap that was taken is mainly truck brake drums, chassis parts etc. so easily identifiable as truck parts.

The tailgate has previously been bogged to smooth over the dents & some of the bog has been knocked out, so there are like chunks missing from the tailgate & you can see bits of pink from the bog.

hey get them to ask andrew if he saw or heard anything.alot has been stolen from this areain the last week. cheeky bassstard stole steel beams stacked out side with 5 or 6 people around during work hours loaded it up then drove off.not good,.
