Hubby has tried a few things to get rid of it,did a google search,eg steaming etc nothing is working any help appreciated Thanks in advance

Are you certain it is a tinting film and not tinted acrylic sheet! If it is the latter you can't remove the tint

if its only perspex it may be just as easy to replace it, perspex is not overly expensive.
