Mine cost $80 to do on my Commodore as I thought it cheaper to buy a 2nd hand cross member. Of course I had access to a hoist so was easy enough to do.

I have heard just rust in Tawa is good value. Dont know what the work is like but they are appaently cheap.

Nobody can be sure because unless you have a good pic we can not see it. Your best bet is spend an hour or so going around panelbeaters getting quotes. Quotes are free and you will get a quick idea of whos ripping you off. The cheapest price isnt always the best either. If they start treating you like,eeer a woman lol walk away and find someone else. The rust may be fixable or you may need a new cross member.Rust is said to be cancer for a reason. a small patch is sometimes a large gapping hole.
