Seller says it was run for 2hrs on rebuild then died , no compression. Any ideas on what the problem is ! cost to fix !

my guess would be ring from sitting so long,or not run in correctly
only way you can loose compression on a 2stroke also,unless piston damage

Head gasket blown! Any bad noises before it died! Did someone forget to do up the big end bolts and the con rod has separated from the crank!

most likely shat its ring, and possibly damaged the bore
ask the guy if it still turns over when u kick it
if it turns over, without making any nasty noises you should be right to chuck a new ring on it, and go again.
worst case, if its still turning over, but the bore is rooted, jump on the worlds biggest 4 letter auction site beginning with an "eb" and ending in a "ay" and have a look for a new barrel - should be cheap as chips

Can sometimes be the crank seal to fliwheel leaking,,or crankseal to g/box leaking.
