Tried there, most of the reviews we looked at said that it was injected, but my husband was confused as the bike has a choke!

It's not a choke. It's a fast idle.

Oh, and he should be able to tell the difference between a carburettor and an injection throttle body. The injection throttle body doesn't have a fuel reservoir underneath it.

injected,well my 2000 tl is anyway.there is no refference to carb models in the workshop manuals i have.
