Stay away from the Euro trash sedans. If you want a hot (modern) euro you'll need to pay big money. 540's are nice but they're old now.

Other thoughts - 2 oldies that aren't especially fast by today's standards but they'll blow the average Ford Falcon away:

NSX - they pop up every three months or so, usually around the 45k mark - you can supercharge these with a kit from JacksonRacing, but it'd be a shit tonne of money to do it.

Porsche 930 - 50k if you're lucky. One of the best they ever made, a flagship car for ten years that dominated the Ferrari GTS's until it was replaced with the 964 and Fezza brought out the 355.

Troggy, maybe could wrap himself in lycra with dopey advertising and ride around on a flashy pushbike. Now that would be grown up aye.

+1 Yes, Scotty's Audis were the best cars ever made until now.

Fair call Troggy.

Did you like the you tube clip tho! For some reason I thought it was funny & my wife thought some petrolheads are kind of similar to the dude in the clip (but not as thin)

Paying $50-60K for a car is ridiculous.

If people didn't pay $50-60k for a new car to begin with, you wouldn't have a supply of used vehicles to sell.

Comfort and performance.

I guess it depends on how much of a bogan you are (or not).
