are you sure its not the light with a key inside it which seems to be normal and if you go to acc then open the door it will start flashing more and beeping ,it does in ours.

Is this normal! just brought one yesterday and last night a red flashing appeared which looks like a tool inside it. Tryed to Google information for a manual, nothing as yet. Any thoughts. Thanks

it means take it to a mechanic you have a fault in the system.
