Looking at a Ford Focus 2005, 1.6, auto-tiptronic, 119,000kms and wondering if these are a reliable car.Has had cam-belt replaced. Don't know much about them, so interested in hearing of pros and cons.Thanks

Is it the 1.6l or the two litre!
The 2 litre is a much better car in my opinion.
Have you compared it with say, a Mazda 3!

It's the 1.6l.Yeah have been looking at Mazda's and quite like them.Just wondering if this model may have had any problems in the past that I need to be aware of.

Yeah cjohnw you're right.Quite like the sedan style although haven't seen many around.VWGolf styling doesn't appeal.

The Bora/Jetta is essentially a Golf sedan
The Mk5 tends to be pretty expensive though
