the wipers in my wifes 89 magna wagon have stopped working.I have checked the fuse and its good.I cant see any sign of a wire broken.How do I wire the wiper motor direct from the battery to check thats not the problem.There are 4 wires.

ummmm you take the whiper motor plug and give it plus with a wire and earth to the body and if it dont goes you replace the wiper motor or scrap the whole car.

you also mesure the other side of the plug with a test light if it has power on it.

one wire is power the other three are earths that control the speed and park.

so does it earth through the switch!
